9.2 Event

Event SD Writing

You can configure the camera to store still images based on events such as Alarm In and Motion

detection.

NOTE: This function cannot be used when Installation mode is turned ON. Set the first stream to

1280x720 or 1280x720 (wide) in the Video > Codec section, and second stream to M-JPEG or

‘None’.

SD Writing

SD Writing will Enable/Disable event recording to the SD card.

When Disabled, all remaining menus will be deactivated.

Directory

The name of the sub-directory where the still images will be stored when an Event occurs.

File Prefix

You may add a file name prefix to the stored image file name.

Example: If the file prefix is ‘alm’, the still image would be saved as alm_date_time.jpg.
